St. Joseph is a Pre-Kindergarten through 6th-grade school.  The faculty and staff are committed to providing an academically rigorous educational program with appropriate academic support services. Each student is viewed as an individual and instructional approaches are designed so that each student has the opportunity to thrive and experience success.




In addition to traditional subject area classes, our academic program also includes:
  • Academic Intervention Services including  on-staff Reading Specialist. Also, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT) services from visiting certified specialists
  • Cross-Grade Reading-Buddy Program
  • Partnership with Richmond Memorial Library (located directly next to the school)
  • Peer-Tutoring Program
  • Computer Lab with monitored internet access
  • Science Lab 
  • Outdoor Science Lab
  • Instructional Technology (Smartboards, Elmos, iPads, Chromebooks, etc.) at all grade levels
  •  Science Fair
