Why a Catholic Education Matters
I feel it is important to teach the whole child including mind, body, and soul. At St. Joseph Regional School, the administration is very supportive and I feel I am trusted to do what is best for each child. The parents are an important part of school life.

PreK News

Welcome to Pre-K!
This year  we will continue to grow, learn, explore, and prepare for Kindergarten! Our classroom will be a place where children can build confidence, independence, kindness, and a love for learning.
Some of the objectives we will work on this year in Preschool will be:
  • Becoming more independent and responsible in the classroom.
  • Learning to recognize and write our first and last names.
  • Beginning to recognize and use sight words.
  • Building our early math skills through counting, numbers, patterns, shapes, and other basic math concepts.
  • Learning the days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and important holidays.
  • Continuing to develop our language, listening, social, fine motor, and large motor skills.
  • Learning what it means to be a kind, caring, and helpful member of our classroom and community.
We will spend our days reading stories, singing songs, dancing, creating art, making crafts, playing games, exploring, and learning through hands-on activities. We will celebrate holidays and explore different topics throughout the year while giving our students opportunities to ask questions, use their imaginations, and discover the world around them.
Most importantly, Pre-K is a year of growing!  We will encourage each child to try new things, make friends, solve problems, make choices, and take pride in all that they can do.
We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and lots of fun!
